Thelma Barlow

I sent her a letter with the December batch, along with two photos as I am a huge fan of hers. Today I got an envelope containing not only the two photos I sent which were signed, but a headshot personalised to me AND a hand signed note thanking me for the letter.

I cannot express how chuffed I was when I got this. She is one of my favourite actresses of all time so it was brilliant getting this. This one is going pride of place.

As with all people in this experiment I feel the need to say that you should never write to someone for the sake of getting an autograph. You should enjoy someones work more than anything.

Result: (outstanding) Success
